Use the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor instead.0

IIRC windows 7 is pretty good at finding most drivers itself during installation providing there is an internet connection.604!0

Try slim drivers0

If you can save driver-finding software for a last resort, it would be better. I use drivermax for such purposes, if I can't get drivers through windows update or the manufacturer of the hardware's website.
If going from vista to 7, even if there isn't a 7 driver available, often the vista one will suffice......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
The best way is to visit the laptop manufacturers website, and visit their support section and download all the drivers for that model and windows 7, installing too much third party software, is generally not the best option, it tends to clutter things up in the future, which will only result in a visit to a home pc repair shop to clean it, and they were probably taught to repair computers from a retired teacher that read it in a book somewhere.:idea:Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 1200

If you do an upgrade from Windows Vista rather than a clean install, it'll use Vista drivers if it can't find its own.0
