I use Internet Explorer 9 64 bit which works fine on every website apart from the Tesco direct website, which causes internet explorer to shut down. Does this happen to anybody else and is there a solution (apart from the obvious one)

Works fine in the 32 bit version of Internet Explorer (which is the one you should be using)0

Possibly uses Flash, and you can't use Flash on 64bit IE0

The 64 bit version of IE9 is only included for development purposes and excludes the main features that IE9 introduced such as the improved rendering engine and hardware acceleration enhancements.0 -

Don't think so. Installed it Nov last year. Shows in Add/Remove as "Flash Player 10 ActiveX 64bit"604!0 -
strange, if i use IE 64bit and go to Youtube I can't view videos because I need to upgrade Flash. If i click the link to install it, it takes me to the flash download and gives me...
although it may be because it's IE8 (using Firefox mainly so didn't upgrade)0 -

No problem with YouTube on mine. And I would have installed 64-bit Flash on IE8 as the install date I've got pre-dates IE9 release.
I can't exactly remeber but I think it was a bit of a faff getting it to work. Possibly a registry hack but can't honestly remember!604!0 -

I've had no issues with that but it's not my normal browser. The Flying images hardware acceleration test cranks out happily at the max 60 fps (real time).Flying Images is a great example of the types of experiences that become possible with Internet Explorer 9’s hardware acceleration. Flying Images uses standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript markup to animate images, using a common coding pattern that you’ll find in many places on the web today, particularly inside JavaScript based games and animation frameworks which need real-time responsiveness with a frame-rate of 60 frames per second (considered real time).
