Am posting on behalf of a friend who has been made redundant. He took out insurance cover for income of £1500 per month, though his f/t job paid more than that. Now he's been told the insurance is unlikely to pay out, because he has a p/t job of 16 hrs so isn't classed as unemployed. He had both jobs when he took out the…

Too late?
I wrote to Northern Rock to try and reclaim my PPI charges on a loan. When they refused me I just accepted their decision and didn't go to the ombudsman. I took the policy out on 21-1-2004 and last contacted them on 14-10-2007. Am I too late to apply to the ombudsman? If not do I need to contact Northern Rock again first?…

Is this NatWest ppi?
Is this NatWest ppi? Hi, I have discovered a statement with the narrative of 'Insurance Premium' back in 2005 as a debit after a loan was granted. I do not recall signing for any extra insurance. The amount is £1100, so it appears to be a front end single premium payment I think? Does anyone else have this or recognise…

Amount of cases with the FOS
Hi guys I know the FOS treats each case on its own merits - but do you, realistically, think there is a limit to how many cases should be with them at any one time?
