not sure where to start reading on this thread
the 1st thing i need to do is find out when my last loan was with natwest
am i right in thinking it has to have been with in the last 10yrs?
so do i ring natwest and say can i have details of when my last loan with you was taken out (or finished)

Why are you asking about your last loan? If you mean cause you have no details of your last loan then you can send a request a Subject Access request for ALL the information that they hold on you (if all loans are settled) and they have to supply going back 6 years only but some have been lucky and got going back further. If however the last loan you had was 10 years ago then I doubt they would hold this information now. If you have had any loans within the last 6 years then they should.hello

A template for the SAR is here and you have to enclose £10 for it and it can take 40 days for them to supply all the information but like I said, usually only going back 6 years though. Don't forget to send any correspondence by recorded delivery as you have a proof and date of posting etc.
