Reclaiming ppi

Hi there, this is my first post as a new user. I am in the process of reclaiming PPI in which the bank has agreed to pay out £1,067.51 of an original lump sum of PPI of £3,049 plus interest which was added to a loan in 2001 and which was fully paid up in 2003. If there is anyone out there who could possibly advise me on whether or not I should accept this figure or keep pushing for a higher figure plus interest. Your comments will be very helpful.:j

Hi - I am not a numbers person but am guessing we need more info:
1. Loan amount
2. Period of loan
3. Interest rate
Etc...
I think others will help though! :j0
