Council Tax Re-banding
Prompted by the links on this website, I checked out my immediate neighbours' council tax banding and discovered they were all band D while we were band F. I called the Council (Ealing) and a week later a VOA valuer wrote to arrange to make an inspection. He visted 3 days later. It took him all of 5 minutes. He agreed that…

Play.com/HDNL lost my parcel
Play.com show my order as being despatched on 8th Dec. HDNL say paperwork was scanned in, but not the actual parcel. Depite phoning both organisations twice a day since Monday they have failed to find the parcel or offer a solution. Play.com's phone lines are now totally overwhelmed and I'm just getting a message saying…

Royal Mail
Was shocked this morning Post arrived. One letter had my name and my postcode. My postcode covers around 30 properties, meaning someone took the time to match up my name to our house number. :T:T:T

Home Delivery Network
I've seen quite a lot of negative comments on various boards about HDN and I'm not disputing the problems people have had but I would just like to say that the drivers I deal with at work and at home have been absolutely brilliant this Christmas. They have helped me with heavy boxes, taken notice of the notes I've left for…

Lush
I just wanted to share what excellent customer service I have received from Lush this week. I purchased a product there last week and when I went to use it on Saturday the pot was empty so I rang their customer services who apologised and agreed to send me a replacement no quibbles. Today I received a gift box from them…

No more Teletext on TV
2009 I thought tv was supposed to be better. Watching the Royal Variety Performance on ITV, but now I have to change channels to find out what the latest football scores are. While watching ITV, it was just a flick of the finger and the scores would flash up on the screen.

Neighbour issue I need advice as he is blocking my front door access!
Hi This is my first time on the forums but could really do with some advice. I live in a first floor maisonette which is accessed through a front door which opens out onto a driveway which I have pedestrian rights over. The person who owns the driveway keeps insisting on parking right outside my front door, sometimes no…

Play.com frustration
Am I just unlucky or is it the tactic of Play.com to have the cheapest price but never any stock!!?? I have two things ordered from them, both out of stock and very different categories. They are hardly Xmas "super-hot items" either. One of them has remained listed as "Out of Stock" on my account page for nearly a month…

Thanks, Sainsbury's
Just a short one, but I'm v pleased with Sainsbury's this lunchtime - they were obviously very busy, and when I got to the till, I was served by a girl who works in the offices - apparently they'd got several of the staff out to serve at the checkouts whilst it was really busy. I've never come across this before, but as I…

Tesco taking payment 3 months late - WARNING
Just had a great start to my Weds by checking my online banking and seeing 2 payments to Tescos when I've not been into the store in about a week. Had a near panic attack thinking my card has been cloned (again!). Called my bank who said that these 2 payments will incur bank charges because they pushed me over my overdraft…

'Money off' coupons in Tesco
Well, that puts paid to my little hobby of cutting out 'money off' coupons from magazines and handing them in at Tesco, getting money off my bill for products they sell but I hadn't bought! They've changed their policy and now won't accept them unless you buy the product. Well, it has been good for all the years it's…

Praise Metsuki.co.uk Online Optician
Bought some glasses from Metsuki recently and have found everything about their service truly superb. These people genuinely want to please you…

UGG boots fell to bits
My Daughters BF bought her some Ugg's a few months ago from the internet. No idea if they were genuine, but they looked like they might be. Within months they had split. I took them to the shoe repairer who said they could not be repaired. He said Uggs are very poorly made always falling apart. Is this true?
