'Money off' coupons in Tesco

Well, that puts paid to my little hobby of cutting out 'money off' coupons from magazines and handing them in at Tesco, getting money off my bill for products they sell but I hadn't bought! They've changed their policy and now won't accept them unless you buy the product.

Well, it has been good for all the years it's lasted, praise for Tesco :T for all the years they accepted my coupons and vent for Tesco :mad: for changing their policy. That's the end of my little sport, might have to get a life now!!

PS I once got 3 books of coupons from the Ideal Home Exhibition, each had nearly £30 of coupons which I slowly handed in to Tesco over the next few months - who'd say 'no' to nearly 90 quid off their shopping bills.

it was changed in october because of the abuse of the scheme...

Every checkout in every store should have a memo within eye distance, that reminds a customer about the change. They have said it's a trial etc so may come back
