Phone with headset (landline)
Hi As I regularly have long conversations on the landline phone, I am looking to buy one of those phones with headsets, the type used by telephonists and operators in call centers. Can anyone suggest a good/comfortable model with reasonable features (what to look for?) which is not too expensive? Many thanks

FREE £50 CALL CREDIT means new cheapest phone service for lighter users
The Post Office home phone* has just launched a new offer, if you join before the end of March, it will give you £50 credit towards your bill. This comes off both your line rental and your call charges. Now for calls it isn't particularly cheap, so higher users will be much better off sticking with my usual top buy…

Build up credit by calling premium rate numbers ?
I recently had thrust into my hand in the street, a calling card which could be 'charged up' by calling a premium rate number at £1.50 a min for 10 mins i.e. a total minimum crddit of £15. The credit could then be used from any phone. The whole thing looked very dodgy as the info on call charges using the card was very…

System for saving on phone charges
With 18866 and similar providers slowly raising their prices and new providers appearing it can be difficult to know which to choose. I simply use them all depending on the time of day and my call destination. Most people I know say it sounds like a lot of hassle and I could probably do better things with my time. With a…
