Make sure you dont pay a penny more then you need to register for BT Privacy which includes free caller display. See http://shop.bt.com/page/btprivacyfaq
If you have CPS your calls you still qualify.Just put a couple of calls a quarter through BT using 1280 override.NGN calls at E&W are best as Bt are cheapest E&W supplier of these type of calls.

My concern as a TalkTalk customer is what happens if I don't make any calls using their 1280 override?
Do they turn off the caller display, or charge the £5.25 for the quarter?Nice to save.0 -

Stop worrying about it,and make just one call a quarter its not a lot to ask. Just a short call (5p min call charge) will suffice. :cool:0 -
I order my weekly takeaway just after 6pm each Friday using the 1280 prefix.mobilegossip wrote:Stop worrying about it,and make just one call a quarter its not a lot to ask. Automated system - calling cancels the paid for Caller Display on your account and activates the free version. You also get the option to sign up for TPS at the same time.us,thecat&thedebt wrote:OMG when did this become free my bt line was only set up on 13th dec last year and i asked for caller id and now pay 175 per month
