Hi there. Sorry if this has already been mentioned. I read earlier on another thread that Talk Talk are now only offering new customers their service with line rental thrown in. I just done a comparison search with Uswitch and it states TalkTalk option 1 with no line rental (line rental paid to BT) and if you sign up in…

18866/1899 stopped working within last half hour
Is anyone else having problems this evening? I'm signed up with both 18866 and 1899. Used the latter earlier this evening. However, they have both stopped working within the last half hour. The line is just dead. No message. No ring tone. Nothing. Called my father-in-law. Same happens on his line. Is it a generic system…

JustDial website - is there a problem
I'm having difficulties on the JustDial website. I can access my account fine, but if for instance I try to go to 'Manage Numbers' or Help, the link simply fails and the 'Page cannot be displayed notice comes up. I sent an email to JustDial customer care this morning to advise on the problem, but thus far there is no…

www.1363.co.uk An easy £10 of free calls?
Talktalk seem to have done something weird to https://www.1363.co.uk since originally buying Vartec in December 2004. They seem to be promoting 1363 as a "dip in when you want to" prefix service, and are offering the first £10 of calls free - so why not? Whilst the £10 credit may not be "worth" £10 it certainly reads as…

Lo-rate Telecom (warning)
LO- RATE TELECOM If you are called from the above company please do not speak to them. They have just "slammed" my father(this I am told is the name for the scam they have just pulled). Now they are demanding £395.00 plus vat to cancel the supposedly verbally agreed contract. They managed to take both of his phone line and…

BT Option 2 & 3 discount - £33 saving for existing subscribers
If you are on BT Option 2 or 3 you can reduce the cost for the next six months, as they are making their "half price line rental for half a year" offer open to you as well as new subscribers. This is what the sales line on 0800 800 040 told me to do (and it worked): Whichever Option you are currently on, ring them and ask…

You MUST note this site.
I wasn't sure where to insert this post. On ITV Monday at 5, I saw this guy (an american), who is infuriated when he makes a phone call and receives an automated respose, ie press this button then another etc. He has a website which has lists of companies, their phone numbers, (some 0800/0845 & some regional), and the…

BT Alternatives?
Are there any?! I am sick of dealing with BT, their customer support is inconsistent and everyone gives you a different answer - I want a Land Line in my house but I don't want BT - what alternatives do I have?! (Bearing in mind I will also need ADSL to be used on this line)
