                    Hi there.
Sorry if this has already been mentioned.
I read earlier on another thread that Talk Talk are now only offering new customers their service with line rental thrown in.
I just done a comparison search with Uswitch and it states TalkTalk option 1 with no line rental (line rental paid to BT) and if you sign up in January, you get free weekend landline calls for LIFE.
This sounds good to me. But I am worried aboout signing up as the 2 websites differ.
Any advice??
Thanks
TB

Why bother with Talk Talk anyway. It its free calls that you are interested in why not sign up with Primus Saver 2,and they will give you FREE Evening Calls as well as weekend ones. They dont expect you to move your line rental,in fact they dont even offer the service.

I'm very happy with them. I moved on the 15th November and have no problems at all. My first bill was 5p! I have emailed them a few times, mainly in the evening, and they have always responded first thing the following morning. They have recently introduced Penny Mobile ( it's not on their wensite yet) which gives a capped mobile rate for evenings & weekends of 20p for the first 20 minutes.0

I've just done a comparison search with uswitch as well and managed to get the following recommendations:-- Primas Saver 3 (all inclusive calls) normally £8.49 but sign up in February and a £5 monthly loyalty bonus paid quarterly (£15). This would mean that it will cost £3.49 per month for a year.
- TalkTalk3 (all inclusive calls) normally £9.99 but get £4 rebate on your bill every month for a year. This by my calculation would cost £5.99 per month for a year. It very clearly states on USwitch that your line rental is paid to BT at £11p/month.

I have rung Uswitch over this and I was told (very unconvincingly though) that it is paid by means of a credit on Primas account.
My only query is can anyone confirm that the USwitch loyalty bonus of £5 for signing up with Primas Saver 3, would be paid to our account, credited on our bill with Primas, or another method?
The reason I have doubt is because the TT offer specifically states the £4 is by a rebate on the TT account but this isn't mentioned for Primas though.0
