Just read about this on The Guardian website : - http://www.theguardian.com/money/2016/mar/18/banned-by-amazon-returning-faulty-goods-blocked-credit-balance Seems Amazon are banning more and more customers now for this. Tbh now I'm hesitant myself to purchase anything more from them just in case I need to send it back !

They seem to be filled with hollofill and covered in a a polyprop-type cover just like pillows. I'm wondering if there's anything can be done to 'replump'…

How long after Best Before Dates would you keep and eat tinned food?
How long after Best Before Dates would you keep and eat tinned food? I've just cleaned out the corner cupboard and found an embarrassing array of tinned food - most is BB 2013 and a few go back as far as 2011 and 2008. I don't want to chuck them unnecessarily. Neither do I want to plan a meal only to find I open the…

Prevention is better than cure
These prevention efforts are almost unlimited so please add more. It’s all the stuff that you do to pre-empt a drama/disaster, and for which you won’t necessarily get any recognition or thanks from your OH or family as they probably won’t realise: however by preventing stuff going wrong you are building a stable family…

shopping list board
I remember my mum having a wipe-clean memo board which she used to write her shopping list on. It had like a waxy crayon/pencil to write with and the board was a kind of laminate if I remember rightly. I am after something similar but have drawn a blank! Does anyone know if you can still get these, or do you have any…

Aldi Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker
I bought a stainless steel pressure cooker from Aldi a couple of years ago but never tried it out until today, when I had a technically inclined friend staying with me and we needed to cooker a large piece of pork. short ribs
Evenin' Folks. Anyone know how to make really nice short ribs/pig ribs? They're cheap, but it seems really tough to get the flavour to actually penetrate the meat - I sendup with a slow cooker full of pork juice and bbq sauce, and ribs that just taste like pork. Happy to be told I'm buying the wrong kinda rib, but really…

What do you put on your hot cross bun?
I love hot cross buns at Easter, but I only ever have them with butter - toasted or untoasted. I thought that was what everyone did, but DH has to have them toasted with butter and jam?! How do you eat yours? :D
