Just read about this on The Guardian website : - http://www.theguardian.com/money/2016/mar/18/banned-by-amazon-returning-faulty-goods-blocked-credit-balance
Seems Amazon are banning more and more customers now for this. Tbh now I'm hesitant myself to purchase anything more from them just in case I need to send it back !

The user sent 11% of his purchases back. They do not need his custom, move along the bus!0

This why most shops (they claim) take your details when returning items, so you don't try and take the p***.
This is one reason I prefer to purchase certain items in a physical store, you can try them for size and suitability, and don't rely on a mail or courier company to get them to your house, with all that entails.
Plus its harder to give them a fake address when shopping online!0 -
Ive never had a problem with Amazon - but then, I haven't returned anything!
I did however offer to return an item which had the wrong delivery address on - correct address, wrong name............and they told me to keep it! my grandson was the glad recipient of a new PS3 storage bag!0 -
Returned so many items, cancelled quite a few orders, never had a problem...0

Returned a lot of books bought for the kindle. Never had a problem but always returned within a couple of hours and because of compatibility issues.0

Hi everyone, thanks for your replies so far. I think I posted this thread in the wrong section and there is the exact same thread in the Consumer Rights Section :- https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5439439
Please could both threads be merged. Thanks0
