Cash for old clothes
Ever thrown a pile of old clothes into the bin? I thought MSE readers in the West of Scotland might be interested in a company that buys old clothes. They pay 50 pence a kilo for old clothes/ textiles etc. I'd imagine there must be similar companies in other parts of the country. http://www.glasgow-recycling.co.uk/ PS I've…

VAT. Name the stores that are taking advantage
We all know that vat is increasing by 2.5% and we all know that some stores will take the opportunity to add a bit more on top. So do the sums and let us know what stores and what goods are increasing more than VAT. Don`t forget that the increase is in reality 2.5% of the price BEFORE vat is added so isn`t just 2.5% of the…

Quick gammon question
Morning all. :D I got 3 bits of gammon from Tesco (3 for £10) and was planning on cooking 2 of them together in the sc. No amount of damp cloth and polish is doing anything to…
