Extending pocketses
DS3 has been given a very nice pair of jeans for Christmas, which I've washed and he's worn (so no, I can't take them back!) However, he says the pockets aren't very deep, and I have to agree with him because I noticed it when I checked them for washing. I know you USED to be able to buy 'new' pockets to fit into old…

Hello there! After reading all about breadmakers on here I decided to take the plunge and buy one for myself. It's the Russell Hobbs Breadman Ultimate and was reduced to £40 from £100 (plus a free electric knife) so I think I got a pretty good deal. And I'm really pleased with the bread from it. Anyway, my one…

Simply Yoghurt - anyone tried this brand?
I am curious. A new yoghurt maker that makes yoghurt in the fridge. I`m going to watch freeview 22 at 9 pm and see if this really is a money-saving innovation or just another gimmick. I just cannot see how yoghurt can grow in the fridge

Yogurt in slow cooker?
Anyone tried this? I fancy trying chicken, yogurt, white wine and tarragon, but don't know if the yogurt would curdle? Yogurt would be a cheaper and less fattening alternative to cream also. Any advice appreciated. (Posted originally in the slow cooker quick questions section, but no replies)

Are you a FLOP? Who has the most organised freezer?
OK, have just filled a new 4 compartment freezer from scratch. Freezing something, even if it was a bargain, is no longer MS if electricity is used to keep it in the freezer for the next five years. C'mon, we've all found something mysterious lurking in there at some time haven't we???? The dried out turkey slices from…
