Hi all!
I need some help... I want to make pizza for my brother and I this evening, and the recipe calls for a 7g sachet of dried yeast.
Except what I have in the fridge is a fist sized lump of fresh yeast.
Can anyone tell me how much fresh yeast i need? Is it just the same?
Many thanks!!!

If it's not too late by now, the equivalent is 1/2 an ounce or 15 grams0

That's great! Thank you!
Does anyone know why you need twice as much fresh? Is it to do with water content or something?
Many thanks again!0 -
Yes, the packet yeast is dried so it's less bulky, think grape=sultana, smaller and lighter y'see0
