Also, you know the 'cheap' stuff you get (Asda own brand etc.), is this ok to use when compared to Castrol etc, especially on a relatively old car like mine (I would think…

Manchester rejects road pricing
The result of the ballot is in, and the good citizens of Manchester have rejected the Government's proposed road charging scheme with a majority "No" vote in all 10 boroughs. This sounds the death knell for road pricing in other major cities, and is a well-deserved slap in the face for the Government's so-called transport…

I have just bought my dad an Ipod Nano, and thought about also getting him a Belkin gagdet to allow him to use it in the car. However, I have a vague recollection that his new car came with a MP3 compatibility. Anyone know if this is right, and what it actually means? Can he play his ipod directly into the car or do I need…

Small Corsa issue
It's nothing major, more annoying than anything. I bought a 2000 W reg Corsa yesterday off a friend, he knew of the problem when he bought it himself a few years back but didn't see it as a problem. Ok right, basically when happens is that when the keys are in the ignition my radio will turn on, save all the preset…

Brake disc minimum thickness recommendations
The manufacturer's quoted min thickness for discs on my car is 11.4mm, but I just bought a new pair of discs (non-oe [EBC]) and on the rim of those it says min thickness 10.5mm (but they are still 12.8mm new). Going by that I could still have an extra 0.9mm on my current discs. I'm changing them anyway - but it just made…
