v5 change of address error

Couple of weeks ago i moved to a new address
filled out the correct part of the V5 and even put put a post it note on top saying "change of address only"
The new v5 turns up at my new place with my name and old address as a previous keeper
A letter then turns up at my previous address saying thankyou for letting us know you have sold / scrapped the car
The car has only had 2 previous owners, now it is showing 3
Its 10 years old so i dont think this will affect the value much, is it worth the hastle trying to sort it out or shall i just leave it?

you should get it amended so that the record is correct.
either ring DVLA (0870 240 0010 or look on saynoto0870 for alternative) and ask them to amend it.
or send back first page to DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1BA highlighting error and it will be changed.
