I bought my 'Zafira' specifically for its higher driving position and boot space... also has the extra seats which comes in handy now and then... but its so easy to get in and out of , take a looksee...:T#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

Used to have a Berlingo van for my business, (1.9 diesel) and yes they are fairly good vehicle, and can be uncomfortable on longer journeys for the driver, due to their slightly off set driving position, but I would go for the Zafira 2.0 diesel.
However,if you would care to give a few more details, like budget etc, then you may get more response. That's my mutt in the picture above.0 -
Scenic or C-Max.
Berlingo looks a bit erm, actually I wont say...0 -
I had an Renault Espace and loved it
Just recently replaced it with a Chrysler Grand Voyager because we actually needed one with a wheelchair ramp - but prefered the Espace for how it drove, the masses of storage, choice of seat positions (7 seats but the back 5 can be put into various places or taken out all together), swivel front seats and loads of other things.
And I must say I avoided the Berlingo because of the certain 'look' it hasI'm a little angelBUT A WHOLE LOTTA DEVIL

Around £3-4 000 so not looking for new or even quite new, but I didn't have a clue even what to search for. Renault gets a good safety result from AA, but a mixed reliability review. Anyone had a scenic or espace?
Don't need a ramp (yet!) just room for a fold up. Mind you, I do struggle to lift it in - need more Weetabix I guess.0 -

Renault's are good on safety - tho that's cos they don't spend much time on the road, so they aint involved in many accidents.
However, the Scenic from 2004 has a very good driving position and is actually quite nice to drive. I also enjoy the ford C-max. But that's cos i'm old (28) and have a knee problem...0 -
Oh yeah - I had a Scenic before the Espace, and that was pretty good as wellI'm a little angel
