  • the towing eye cover from the front is missing, does this mean its been towed/in a crash or just fallen off?

Check the front number plate is made at the same place as the rear one, this is often a good way to tell if it could of been in a smack

Seems like a good deal to me. Hpi is clear and agrees with the advert.

In todays depressed car market,I would think you would get a better deal off him than £3300.And if he won't budge, then there are thousands of Vectras out there.

    Ken.
That's my mutt in the picture above.
  • If you like hard uncomfortable seats then go for it,if not look for something else,i found and many people i know agree that the Vectra seats are awfull.A Mondeo is a much better buy tbh (having had 3).Personal opinion i know, just thought i would share.

    Ben.
  • It's nice enough. Make sure it's had the cam belt done on it.

Most of his other cars on his website are hidiously over priced tho...

EDIT: His other Vectra also has to tow eye missing...

That simple little piece of plastic missing is enough for me to walk away.
The caps don't simply fall off.
The fact that the car has been recently towed means it has (or did have) a significant defect.
Of course it may have been an easy fix, but it was enough for the last owner to decide to get shot of the car.

That little element of doubt is quite enough for me.

    Agreed.

These covers don't just fall off, they have to be prised out,via a small slot in them.

If your hellbent on looking at it/buying it,you need to be asking some serious questions.

It looks like the front bumper may have been replaced to me, it doesn't seem to have the same shine as the rest of the car.

There has to be a reason for the missing cover.
  • £3300 would buy you a nice Alfa 166. I know what I'd rather have.

My tow eye cover got pinched. Couldn't it just be something as simple as that?
