Thames Water - Combi Boiler Condensate Pipe
I have had an a lot of trouble recently with Thames Water saying that my condensation pipe should run through the foul waste drain rather than be connected to the surface rain water drain. Anyone built an MSE sauna?
We are thinking about putting a sauna into our garage. (I know you'd normally expect to put a car in there... ) It would be about 2m x 1.5m. Cooker/stove - Electric or Gas?
We're going to be buying a cooker soon - probably an inexpensive freestanding one. We love the 30's gas cooker we have in our present flat but it can't come with us (we'd take it if we could). People always said in the past that gas is the best for cooking on, and it's cheaper than electricity. But is gas still cheaper to…

Sky Tv
Freeview TV is rubbish in my area and I'm sure I'm not the only one to say this. The picture goes on and off despite a new arial which cost me loads. I already had a satellite dish and toyed with the idea of seeing what was on the sky digital satellite if I bought a Sky Digibox. The cost to me was as follows: Sky Digibox…

A different "ant" question
My OH is paranoid about the pesky things getting into the house  . This time of year he goes on ant-watch every evening, spraying and ant powdering all over the place (outside). He's finding that a lot of them are coming out of the brickwork and has now suggested drilling holes in the brickwork  to "let them out"…
