Shower head cleaning

My shower head is spraying water out in all different directions so I guess it's a build up of limescale? Anyone know what I can use to clean it in order that I can have a decent shower without it going everywhere? Thanks.

Try a scrubbing brush and push it into the holes as well as backwards and forwards.. I also poke the holes with a large needle (only takes a few mins) and that works greatI'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!
I'm not losing my hair... I'm getting more head!!0 -
The best thing if you can is to take the shower head apart and remove any buildup from the inside, I recently cleaned one that didn't come apart and cillit bang worked well.0

Cleaned mine with ....STARDROPS. It worked for me. Just sprayed it on, left it for about a minute, brushed for a few seconds with a nailbrush. Working like new.0

stick the showerhead in a bowl of half warm water, half vinegar and leave for a few hours. Can get a bit smelly so put it outside if you can take the shower head off.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages, student & coronavirus Boards, money saving boards. Try 'Quickshine Descaler bags' .... and the cheapest place to buy them is..... Waitrose! (I kid you not, I have seen these at £2.50 from Kleeneze but the are £1.29 for the same thing from Waitrose).
From the Waitrose blurb:
"The quick, easy, and non-toxic way to remove kettle scale and fur.
Simply drop a Descaler Bag into a kettle of hot water, and 25 minutes later the limescale has gone.
Ideal for use on plastic and metal kettles and coffee makers. Or drop one in a bucket of hot water with your shower head."
I use them for the shower head and my glass kettle, and they are fantastic!0 -
