Central heating bangs when pump kicks-in!
Does anyone know what to do about this? It sounds as if it's upstairs but after lifting the flooboards the pipes are well and truly fixed, right through each of the joists in the floor so therefore they can't move at all. This has only happened since a slight modification to our ancient boiler. We've eeked all the air out…

Problem with our shower (longish post!)
I wonder if anyone can help... Me and my partner live in a rented house which to be honest has alot of problems. Glass privacy film?
Due to problematic neighbours, I would like to install privacy film on my windows to prevent them seeing into my property. However, I'd obviously still like to see out of my windows and have the benefit of natural light, so basically it has to stop them seeing in but enable me to see out. Has anyone else done this or got…

Remove unwanted rotary washing line
Broken and rusty old washing line cemented into my lawn, tried to dig around it today but the concrete seems quite far down and wide, so I stopped after 2 spade fulls of earth! Is it possible to 'saw' the bottom of the line and just remove it that way? If so, what would I have to use to do it?
