Problem with our shower (longish post!)

I wonder if anyone can help...
Me and my partner live in a rented house which to be honest has alot of problems. We've been told by the people company who we rent through, that we could complain to the landlady and get all of the problems fixed however that would probably be a significant rise in rent.
Anyways...one of the problems is the shower. (If it makes a difference its a New Team Eight.Five)
Its one that heats the water as it comes in, and its not a powershower.
Basically it has two little lights on it, one says "Low Pressure" and the other says "reduce temperature" .
Maybe 3 or 4 times when in the shower, the reduce temeperateure light comes on and the water goes freezing. I know the obvious is to do as it says, but whether you do or not, it goes cold for about a minute then starts to warm up a bit.
Its not like we are using it a a high temperature, in fact its luke warm.
We thought maybe we have low pressure ... we also cant find a stopcock for the house so cant increase that.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
thanks :-) and apologies for the long post

  • Sounds like low water pressure to me. There has to be a stopcock somewher in the house. I would contact your landlady and ask her for location of stopcock. Turn it to open fully and hopefully that will solve problem.
