Remove unwanted rotary washing line

Options
Broken and rusty old washing line cemented into my lawn, tried to dig around it today but the concrete seems quite far down and wide, so I stopped after 2 spade fulls of earth! Is it possible to 'saw' the bottom of the line and just remove it that way? If so, what would I have to use to do it?

Yes it is. You could use a hacksaw if you know some one with an angle grinder even better.

if the pole isnt rusted through try get some mates round and rock it left to right / forwards backwards you should be able to get the pole and block out in one piece ... failing that cut it offf if you dont mind the block in your lawn,
If it doesnt pay rent sell it.
