Shower/bath rail needed (connected to ceiling) & curtain

Hey all,
we've got a bath with a shower on a wall at one end, the other end is next to open space (not wall). Most shops i've seen only have shower rails that connect from wall to wall - can anybody suggest a product, or somewhere to look for a product that connects from the shower end wall to the ceiling at the other end of the bath? I am quite sturgy with my money so saving every penny helps!
Argos doesn't have anything, b&q i'm visiting tomorrow. Plumbworld has this for £21: http://www.plumbworld.co.uk/317-10725 for (plus delivery around £5) although i'm not sure if that connects to the ceiling
this for £34: http://www.plumbworld.co.uk/317-10727
or this for £18 that makes an L shape - which would do i suppose: http://www.plumbworld.co.uk/317-10720
also, we've purchased a shower curtain itself made of PEVA, but i'm concerned this may be too thin/flimsy & may be attracted to stick to the body when showering. What advice can anyone give on these? is there a better material? our old curtain seems pretty thick & good quality but i hate the pattern (came with the house).
Many thanks for reading & all advice is welcome

I would personally buy a shower screen. I know they're more expensive but I think they look better and there's nothing worse than a cold shower curtain sticking to your bum in the shower!I haven't got one!0

You'll find that you can get them a lot cheaper at the local DIY stores.
I'm fairly sure that I got mine for less than £10 at our local Focus.I'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!
I'm not losing my hair... I'm getting more head!!0 -
not necessarily cheap but search on the NExt website for 'shower' they sell a curtain rail that is basically a wide loop but has only one wall connector i.e above shower head, costs £40 but gives an idea that may be able to get something similar from elesewhere0

thanks for hte tip woby - but we're looking for something that goes along the length of the bath.
coolagarry, there's a focus not too far from me so that'll be my next stop after B&Q
thanks
cheekymole - we considered a screen before choosing a curtain - mainly down to cost but also because i want something i can push out the way - the single & double panel screens are still too big. I've not completely ruled it out though

If that has nothing to attach it to the ceiling part way around, be ready for it to drop off at the slightest nudge. You really need something that will support it near the corner.
I got an L-shaped brushed aluminium section rail that was held up with a pole at the corner (rather than the string many expect you to have in your bathroom for the purpose) at J.T. Doves (a builders merchant/serious DIY centre) in Newcastle for under £20 - cheaper than the trash in B&Poo and the likes, and much much better quality. There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't
In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice0 -
https://www.screwfix.com have L-shaped rails with decent fixings.0
