Dripping shower help
Hi, I've got a Bristan shower shown below that's started dripping from the shower head - a small droplet every few seconds and I'm wondering what could be causing this and what can I do to resolve this? I've already descaled the shower head as well as replaced the shower head yet it still happens.

Anyone found a well on their land and how did you do it?
The house we are buying has a well on our land, suspect it's under the foundations of the old greenhouse (flagstones). Without digging up the whole of the foundations has anyone ever found a well on their land by more traditional methods e.g. water divining or have tips on tell tale signs to look for to indicate where it…

We've had our Neff oven with Slide & Hide door since 2015, and we're quite pleased with it overall. Our home renovation project - Opposite of MSE philosophy!!
I've always tried to follow MSE philosophy of saving and using money with care which has set us up well to mid life (40s). But COVID showing how fragile life is, and childhood memories of watching Kevin McCloud quiz home owners why they have 'risked it all' in the name of design has made us do something that's the total…

Changing the location of driveway in the front garden - no pavement
Would I need to involve council or anyone in order to move the driveway from left to right? There is no pavement as far as I understand, from the deeds it looks like I own the land right up to the road. There is a low wall currently where the new driveway would go, and between that low wall and the road there is a…

An obscure question about a Wolfcraft clamp - for tool nerds only!?
I've got a Wolfcraft clamp that sometimes, when you tighten it up on a workpiece, won't tighten and although it closes it doesn't really stay tightly closed - not much use for a clamp! Someone may be familiar with the mechanism that you can see on the photo. Ironically it started working OK after I took the lid off it to…

Cupboard wall removal
Hi My property has a corridor type hallway with numerous cupboards built in. One of which is in a corner near the front door. It's quite useful for coats and it also hides the consumer unit. It makes the area quite narrow though and limits space at the foot of the stairs. Just considering removing it as I'm redecorating…
