Smart (ish) Alarm clock radio - what is available?
Are there any alarm clocks/devices available that can act as a bedside clock with an alarm function and also start playing a radio station or play list from a streaming source? I don't want an FM or DAB clock radio but a similar thing that can use streaming services instead. Perhaps an Echo dot with clock might work but I…

i5 to i7 sound issues
I just bought a new (refurb) Optiplex 7020 i7 and moved an SSD from my Optiplex I5. Booted straight up and it appears to be fine, except when I play YouTube video's they sound 'hollow' or maybe 'tinny' is a better word. I checked and both speakers are working so it hasn't slipped back to mono. Given that this is exactly…

How to wipe an old laptop
I've just bought a new laptop and I'm not sure what to do with the old one. Is there a way I can put it back to factory settings like I can with my phone? Should I take out the hard drive and pulverise it with a hammer? I wouldn't even know how to take out the hard drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
