winmail.dat file

Hi

I have done some test email sending attachments JPEG, PNG, PDF and Word files from my PC to my android phone.

When it hits my phone using either data or Wi-Fi it is winmail.dat file for the name of all attachments on my phone.

Yet when I send the same attachments from my work email account (.org) using the same PC I can then open the attachments on my phone as normal.

Both times i can open the attachment on my PC with no issues when sent to my TalkTalk account.

PC e mail clients are TalkTalk = Outlook classic and my work client is Outlook new

My phone e mail client is Samsung e mail

Talktalk and EE mobile

My setting on my Talktalk outlook are all HTML

What's is happening as i have not altered any setting on the two clients on the PC or my phone?

Try turning off TNEF

Thank you for the replies.:)     
I have already doubled check that my settings on the PC are all HTML.
But i reluctantly emptied the auto complete list and everything is back to normal on my phone and i have tested it several times by sending e mails with different attachment formats.
One very happy bunny again
