Windows 11 professional And Office 2021

I had seen adverts on line for both of these for just £9.99
How is this possible?
Is it actually illegal?

They will be using an enterprise site license or a developer's license that allows creation of Windows installations for testing purposes with no production work.
Certainly the installation process will involve you ticking a box to confirm that a set of statements given is true, when they won't be.
There is no guarantee that they will not stop working.

Sorry, but the reply above is simply conjecture. The installation process has nothing to do with the product key. In fact you can install Windows 10/11 without a product key at all....and then add it later. Windows 10/11 will work without product keys.

As stated, most likely these will be volume licenses, but if Microsoft become aware they may end up blacklisting them and so they don't work anymore.

I got mine from the Microsoft Home Use Program for a similar price which was great (so long as your organisation had signed up). That's now been replaced by Workplace Discount and as Microsoft have moved to a subscription model it's a 30% discount on Microsoft 365 subscription (so not as great)

It will just state "Windows is activated with a digital license". That's it. No need for unnecessary conjecture.

If the computer your installing windows 11 Pro on has ever had Windows on it will auto activate anyway and it doesn't really matter if its activated or not it will still work

Not sure about office 2021 however libreoffie is free and is incredibly similar to  office

Windows 10/11 can be downloaded freely from Microsoft onto a bootable USB stock

If you have an unused windows 10 pro OEM key on an old pc it will work, or if you are retiring a windows 10 pro system (and don't mind logging into a microsoft account) you can de-activate windows and transfer the licence to the new one.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
