Is student debt actually a good thing?
I am a single parent and have quite religiously saved every spare penny for my son to go to university. I earn a reasonable salary and my sons and I live quite frugally (we live in 2 bed place and I sleep in the living room, if we go on holidays they are always cheap and cheerful). I have managed to save a considerable sum…

KS2 SATS in 2016
My child will be taking KS2 Year 6 SATS in May 2016, and I just want to know whether Maths papers will be taken in one sitting or different days? I guess the same applies to English papers. Plus reading online not every school will take Science SATS, how do I find out whether my child is taking it or not? Thanks

Loan for a GDL (law) when you have undergrad loan still to repay
Hi all, Can someone confirm for me that a high-street bank would not reject an application for a loan for post-graduate study (in my case the GDL in law) if one has outstanding debt to repay from a loan from his bachelor's degree? I have about £10,400 to repay and graduated in 2011. Thanks, Bernie

NatWest graduate account tiered overdraft - have they forgotten me?
Hi all, just a small question here. NatWest offers a tiered interest-free overdraft to graduates, with £2000 interest-free throughout the first year after graduation, £1000 after the second and finally £500 throughout the third. So the overdraft remains at £2k, but the interest-free portion slowly drops year-by-year.…
