Lidl electrical guarantee
Has anyone returned an electrical item to Lidl recently? I seem to remember their guarantee was longer than a year, but that may have changed. Their website says 1 year and 36 months in the same sentence, so not very helpful! Our salter air fryer has stopped working and it is just under 2 years old. Thank you

Marks & Spencer Gift Card Expiry
A friend of mine was given £100 in M&S Gift Cards pre-pandemic. As a result of not being able to go shopping (shops closed, shielding, isolating etc), they hadn't got around to spending them until recently, to find that the vouchers had expired. When they raised this with M&S, the customer services' answer was "well, you…

Cheapest dry cleaner for a wool coat, or can it be done on a cold wash?
Hi, I would welcome advice about a wool coat I bought from ebay for £20. It smells and needs cleaning, but the only price list I can find for this (waitrose) lists coat cleaning at £19 with 5% off for a waitrose card. The coat is lined, but as far as I am aware, wool only shrinks when subject to high temperature, so I…

Postage charges on Wowcher
I've purchased 3 items on Wowcher (2 of which are the same item purchased twice) When I go to redeem I can only redeem one at a time and am being charged separate postage for each item. Is this correct? As I live in Northern Ireland I have always had the pleasure of paying extra postage charges, but at £8 per item - £24 in…

Currys Price Match
Hope this is the correct forum for this.... Decided to buy a new printer, did the usual comparison, and Amazon was cheapest. Had to pop into our local Currys to get something else (not related), and noticed a fairly small poster in a corner stating "Price Match", which basically stated that they would match any price in…

Ted Baker
As a long time fan of the Ted Baker brand, I was very sorry to hear that all the shops have closed, putting so many out of work. Thoughts are with them all. Does anyone know how and where any remaining Ted Baker stock will be sold please? I've picked up a few bargains at TK Maxx over the years, so will they take most of…

Prom Dress Resale
Hi all My beautiful daughter has somehow convinced me to spend £450 on a prom dress. Is there an established resale market for “Used once” prom dresses? If I can get half that money back I would be happy, but I can’t find anything that stands out, just eBay really. Thanks in advance 😀

Prom Dresses for those who cannot afford one
I have a few Brand New Beautiful Prom Dresses (cost around £170 each) that I would like to go to young ladies who might not otherwise have/afford one? I don't want to give them to a charity as that will not ensure they go to those I would like to have them. Can anyone suggest how I might do this?
