Just a quick FYI, I had slippers on my winter to buy list and Next have a fair amount in their online clearance section. Seems to be across most small and medium sizes - adult sizes 7 and 8 a little harder to find in men or women, they also have some kids slippers marked down up to 50% so prices are now from around £8-£20 for slipper boots - my preference to keep my ankles warm!

Edit: Word of warning, deliveries can be a bit slower on sale items - I purchased today with a delivery to store estimate of Wed 1st Oct, so allow for potentially a couple of weeks.
I've experienced slow sale purchase delivery from them in the past so I guess they get swamped in their sale and have to ship stuff centrally/move stock between stores maybe.
