I wanted a home blood pressure monitor so google, Amazon etc. Found one on the latter with lots of 5* reviews so ordered. Came today. Haribo shortage??
Noticed that for about the last 5 or 6 weeks the section where all the Haribo products usually are has been completely empty - there have been other brands of Haribo type products but no Haribo. Is this just my supermarket being terrible at re-stocking or is there some sort of national Haribo shortage?

Does Cex ever honour their guarantee?
I'm looking for a secondhand laptop as I can't afford to buy new. I thought the Cex site looked great but I'm a bit dubious about the 2 year warranty on everything. I'm reading reviews by people who say they never honour the warranty. Does anyone on here have any experience buying from Cex? I bought a digital voice…

Check-Out Round Up
I am sure this is done with good intentions, but I am a bit concerned that certain venues (I have particularly noted the local pub and supermarket) have taken to offering a "round up" when paying by card. (For clarity, the pub and the supermarket are two separate venues, but both parts of large chains.) The way these…

Carrier bags
Morrison's has announced it is planning to drop all bag for life bags that are plastic switching to strong paper ones after a trial. They claim will reduce plastic use but my point for discussion is surely that will involve more lorries to transport as paper bags weigh more than plastic ones hence heavier loads & larger…

Watch out for Amazon now hiking prices without telling you!
If you added items to your basket on Amazon, then "saved till later", Amazon used to tell you if prices changed. Suddenly, the items in my basket that I saved till later have all gone up in price.
