Amazon adding to price when logged in - maybe just for Prime Members
A few years ago, I remember hearing on Radio Four's You and Yours that Amazon were effectively using 'money on vouchers' which basically meant that if their algorithms detected that you might be interested in certain products, they would bump the cost up. They said that they had made an error of judgement and they would…

TK Maxx Identifying Codes
Did anyone else see the recent Channel 5 programme about TK Maxx? For anyone who missed it, but who regularly shops at TK Maxx, it was interesting only because it revealed some codes on the price ticket. In the string of numbers at the top of the ticket (not the bar code) there will be a single digit with no zeros before…

Unwanted Amazon Prime Charge
I do not understand Amazon Prime. I thought Amazon was just an on-line shop, where you purchase items from a supplier, and that supplier pays Amazon a small fee for use of their site. It was only when checking my bank statements that I discovered payments made to Amazon for Prime membership for which I gave no…

Back for 2022: What's the best £1 you've ever spent?
Two years ago, MSE Becky asked "What's the best £1 you've ever spent?". She wrote a blog about it and began a Forum discussion which can be found here. I'd love to hear some more examples. -- For Becky, the best £1 spend was a battery-powered milk frother from Ikea. Other instances included: "It was 1970 and I offered to…

Amazon prime
If I sign up for Amazon Prime 30-day free trial, am I
correct in thinking a lot of items purchased may still charge for delivery? And
how would you know before you sign up which items would be charged postage, or
is that not possible.

Dell laptop cashback promotion March 2022
Apologies if this is in wrong section! I bought a Dell laptop from Currys with £150 cashback to be reclaimed from Dell, between 14 to 45 days after purchase. The Currys website had the link for this on the laptop page. Comes time to claim, Currys have removed the link and I have been going around in circles trying to get…

Seen any Easter bargains?
There are Easter crafts for £1 at Hobbycraft. There are £1.50 Easter mugs, £1 toy bunnies and other things at Poundland. (Apparently the rabbit cake stand is out of stock now.) If you're somebody who buys decorations and treats specially for Easter, what deals have you spotted?

Made.com - your experience
Hello I’ve seen some nice looking items at made.com, but the reviews/ratings on Trustpilot are really shocking (below 2/5 on average). I’m really torn - Trustpilot usually seem quite reliable, but if made.com are really as terrible as the reviews suggest, I doubt they’d still be in business. Any views, experiences or…

Completesavings
So I always thought this was a scam/pyramid scheme style website. Well just found out how insanely good it is for cashback. I have to wonder what is the catch here? I'm getting a £16 welcome bonus, £15 monthly bonus (as I understand this there is no minimum amount to get the monthly bonus?) and then 10% cashback on almost…

But thinking about it what’s the chance of getting them as they need to make my prescription and I’m under the impression that only Rayban can etch them .. or would they have the lenses in stock not sure how it works.…

New barcoded stamps before price rise
Looks like the royal mail website have started selling the new barcoded stamps at current 1st and 2nd class prices. It's free delivery over 50 pounds, so there's an opportunity for a few weeks to stock up before the price rise in April and not have the hassle of having to swop from the old style stamps to the new.
