Frustrating National Express website
I haven't travelled by coach for many years but want to travel with National Express from Cornwall to Heathrow. I don't want to risk rail disruption in January. I book a return or use the train depending on timings. I've looked at the NX website several times and the information changes. For example: sometimes it states…

Advance train fare prices over Easter
I am trying to get Virgin West Coast train return Liverpool to London this Easter but although either side of Easter there are good advance prices, no sign of it yet over Easter! Is it worth waiting for any change in these or do they tend not to reduce in price anyway?

Utterly outraged by Transport For London.
I use AndroidPay on my mobile phone when using public transport in London. Noticed over the past few days the amounts being taken from my account have been way too much for my usage. Turns out that I've been charged some maximum cash fares. Called up TFL and was told that I probably hadn't used the same card to touch in…

Hybrid Mountain Bike Tyres
My bike tyres are marked 26 X 1.85. These tyres are difficult to get and far more expensive than the more common 26 X 1.95. Will the bigger tyre fit and be safe ? Many thanks

Leeds to Bristol - Cheap train tickets - do they exist!
If there is one thing I despise having to do, it is book train tickets. I always feel like I am being taken for a ride.......and not to my destination.... I am booking a train from Leeds to Bristol well in advance. Very flexible on the date, anywhere in March or even April. Returning same day. I cannot seem to find a cheap…

Promo Day Return
Hello All, I've noticed some 'promo day return' tickets on the greater anglia website. Buying these would reduce the cost of my journey by £3 but I'm wondering how flexible they are. The T&C state this: "You may not start, break and resume, or end your journey at any intermediate station except to change to/from connecting…

Help me travel in UK
I need to travel from Gainsborough to Lyneham near Swindon. I can get a lift at the beginning to Retford but not sure about the Lyneham end. Any decent routes? Coach seems impossible and trains seem to need a trip to London and an underground journey.

Track pump that fits AirZound horn?
I have an AirZound bike horn, but none of the pumps I have quite fit. As much as I push down, I can't get any air in. I need a new track pump anyway -- ideally one with a double Shrader/Presta nozzle, and a pressure gauge. But most importantly, one that fits the AirZound! Any suggestions? :)

Kidderminster to Edinburgh by train?
I've been searching for trains to and from Edinburgh in April. (Going for 2 night break). Managed to find one going for £25 for the three of us! (2 adults and 1 child with railcard). Coming back, nothing for less than £200. Surely that's not right?! Can anyone advise how to find a cheaper fare? I looked at the bus but…

Vertical hand grip?
Hi I have a hybrid bike with a flat handle bar. I think it has been giving me shoulder/bicep trouble (aggrevating an old injury). Ideally I need attachments for the handle bars to allow my hands to have a grip closer to vertical rather than horizontal. Do such attachments exist? Or do I need a whole new handlebar?

Cycle lanes - not used
Why, when local councils have spent millions of pounds installing either dedicated cycle lanes near to a road or have signposted existing footpaths as shared cycle lanes / footpaths do many cyclists insist on still using the road? Many of the dedicated lanes are adjacent to busy, fast moving roads so are clearly there to…

Delay Repay from mainline for tfl strike?
I have travelled into London on Greater Anglia and found that there is no way I can get to my office other than a 65 minute (on a normal day) bus ride. (They said they expected the circle line to run otherwise I wouldn't have tried). I am now on my way home again. Am I able to claim through delay repay for the journey?
