I booked a train ticket that cost over £30 and involved a Virgin train then a northern one. The northern one got cancelled and there wasn't another for over an hour so I was 62 minutes late.
Can I claim a refund of the whole ticket from northern?

Who did you buy the tickets from? I assume Virgin?
I'd check their terms for Delay Repay in the first instance.
They are pretty good if you ask on Twitter.0 -
No, I bought via Cross Country - assumed you claimed through the booking site but they said not. They said try Northern. But it was a little local train that got cancelled so would they refund a £30 ticket?0

If it was a single ticket, Northern are responsible for paying you compensation of the full single ticket price.
If it was a return ticket, Northern are responsible for paying you compensation of half the return ticket price.
Read all about it and fill in their form here.0
