Sheltered housing and the energy discount.
I live in sheltered housing (Anchor) and charges for heating and hot water are included in the rent I pay. Charges for electricity I pay separately, to an energy supplier chosen by me. Is anybody else is in a similar position to me? I'm just wondering how this impacts the energy discount of £400 we've all been promised?

Wealth
As one enters the twilight of one's life, I often ponder. What do we mean by wealth. How do you know you have died "rich" Is it the money in the bank? Number of homes you own? Number of descendants you have created? Number of people who are there to care and look after you in your old age? Number of people you have at your…

Deprivation of assets vs just spending as you go along
If I sell all my assets, turning it into liquid cash, and then spend it and gift to my friends and family to spend. And I mean SPEND, not invest into tangible assets. Insurance Renewal Time
The FCA might have banned dual pricing, but there can still be a loyalty penalty for renewing insurance policies. Pretty much every year, I have to waste time hunting out the best available deal on motor insurance (January/February) and household insurance (July/August). It's a pain in the neck, and I hate it. This year,…
