Valid rejection under Consumer Rights Act?
Hoping for some advice from anyone who may have experienced similar. My son bought a car from a used car dealership a few weeks ago. On test driving there were a few things the dealer said he would get sorted before he delivered it, some of which he did, but when he delivered he said he hadn't had time to fix the heated…

Derisory council offer despite main dealer evidence of cause of pothole damage
Hello Has anyone had a good result/experience after going down the small claims court route? After hitting massive pothole (that had already been reported) and submitting a claim the council are offering a derisory amount to my 20 year old daughter. They dispute causation despite a main dealer report detailing the damage…

Think I made a big boo boo with my Car Insurance decision.
Long story short, my wife had a minor collision in our 2015 Jeep Cherokee, just before Christmas just gone. Very quickly, after sending photos, the insurance company came back and said the car was a total loss (economical). I was shocked, quote was £6k for a minor bumper dent, cracked headlight (still works) and small dent…

I saw one online, enquired about it, and gave the details of our car to the
dealer. 4 days later…

Why is DVLA website shut after 7pm??
This is absolutely ridiculous. What if, due to circumstances, you want to sell or buy a car after 7pm (maybe in summer), you won't be able to notify DVLA until 7am the next day. Why isn't the website accessible 24/7? They don't have any 'humans' receiving the info so why not? Shocking.

Have we ever been in a worse car buying era I don't know where to turn next.
I am lost and don't know what to do next. Buying an electric car now is like buying an iPhone from Apple and buying a pertol car is like buying something that I could no longer sell. What on earth do you do? I can't even buy anything in the hope that it would become a classic for fear of it being outlawed from the road in…

Pothole Claim
My county council are not accepting liability for my pothole claim. They claim they decided on a two hour recovery window due to the severity of the hole and as this two hour repair window had not expired they are not therefore liable. Why on earth did they not do anything to alert drivers to the hole? It was huge and…

Dealer Service Rip Off
I've used a dealer to service my car for the last couple of years, it's an electric car. Been charged £200+ each time. Just had the car serviced by my local garage, they've stated the car's fine, not much to check on these cars. No charge for the service.
