Moving To LPG For The First Time
Currently we live in West Sussex and are on mains gas and have always been on mains gas. However, we are currently in the very early stages of looking to relocate to Devon and so far all of the properties we have looked at are not on mains gas but have LPG central heating. This is completely new to us. I understand how it…

Having become accustomed to calor gas' horrendous customer service I thought I would come here before I begin talking to them about this issue, for viewpoints on how to approach this. Calor gas charge me an atrocious 77ppl and as a consequence I have had to restrict my gas usage. The heating is rarely on and I was without…

Estate Metered LPG Prices
Hi all LPG Users, we are on a bulk estate metered LPG serviced by Calor, they won’t engage with us regarding prices, we are paying 72pence per litre plus 16.4 pence per day standing charge, just wondered if any of my fellow LPG prisoners can help with current price information. Thanks to all.

Lpg Save
Has anyone used LPG save? I've read some reviews (not sure how independent they are). Are they credible? It feels like they are agents for flogas?

Get a meter fitted for your LPG
It was driving me mad on not easily been able to keep an eye on my LPG gas usage. So i purchased a meter & fittings & got my gas engineer to fit it on my next boiler service. Now this was at a cost of £120.00 in total with a cheap cctv camera. "CCTV ??" The only place the meter would go was in the loft, as that's where the…

Flogas or Calor
We currently get our gas from Calor, we have an underground tank which they provided (I'm assuming, it was here when we bought the house 3 years ago. The house is 7 years old, rural location in Dorset). Our contract with Calor has just lapsed and we are looking to change to Flogas. They have quoted us 52p per litre and 30p…

Is it cheaper to use a 2500kw Oil heating, than Gas Central Heating?
We noticed our Gas usage was higher. We have a two storey house. In the study which is the smaller upstairs room is a 2000kw Oil Filled radiator, as upstairs is always colder. That heats the room in about 20 mins. Works very well, silently of course. During the day I spend less time downstairs than the weekend. So I…

Replacing lpg with something better
I’m about to buy a house with land (a dream I’m finally fulfilling) in Herefordshire. The house is a 300-400 year old agricultural barn with a new house ‘wrapped’ around it. The new house has yet to be lived in and has good EPC readings (B’s) but is let down with ‘E’ readings for its heating as it’s powered by a lpg tank…
