Flogas charge but no delivery
Hi all having some issues with Flogas at the moment. Our tank was at about 25% so ordered a delivery. Flogas say they delivered 700l last Tue but my husband and I were both at home and didn’t see/hear anything and the usual delivery note through the door wasn’t left. Our tank is now showing 20% so they clearly didn’t…

Do oil additives work?
Oil companies often try to sell additives, which they say helps keep your boiler clean, and helps the oil to burn more effectively thus generating more heat. This could be (and sounds like) a complete scam, but I suppose it might be true. Does anyone have any concrete evidence on whether these products actually work, and…

Calor Gas LPG, minimum order?
Hello everyone, I have an underground tank that is 25% full. I would like to order some more gas from Calor, but because of costs I would only like to order say 600L. Is this possible, can I specify how much gas I would like, or will they just fill it up? Many thanks!

Flogas say we can't leave or change tarrif until contract ends in Dec 2025. UK Gov says different
It says on the UK Gov website (CMA) "Signing an exclusive contract means that you’re tied to one provider of LPG for a maximum period of 2 years. However, customers have the right to change supplier either during a contract or at the end of the exclusive period and LPG suppliers must make it easy for customers to do this.…

Recoheat
Has anyone ever heard of this gadget? It seems to be some sort of pump you install in the flue of your stove to get more hot air in the house. I have just come across it by chance; after a search here nobody seems to have mentioned as yet. As I am disappointed with the heat output of my stove, I am always trying to find…

After 18 years with Calor Gas, I am currently going through the switching process and moving to Flogas for a number of reasons. I was hoping that this would be straightforward, but after initiating the process in August, and being advised it would take 28 days, I am now in a position where Flogas say that Calor havent sent…

Worcester Greenstar Heatslave II Combi Oil Boiler Hot Water Timer
We've just moved into a house with a new boiler. It has separate timer controls for heating and hot water and I don't understand why there's a timer for the hot water. I thought the point of a combi is that hot water is heated instantly when required. Can anyone clarify? Thanks

Low Flow Rate - Northumbrian Water don't seem interested
I am writing this to try and gather some advice. My mother has a WB boiler that is 12 years old, but fires up and heats CH just fine, so I think there is no problem with the boiler. Northumbrian Water has been out as both my mother and next door to her (who share the supply) often have issues with shower going cold. They…

LPG Switch impossible as Avanti Gas derelict in their duty to performing mandatory safety tests.
I am literally being held to ransom by Avanti Gas, who over the past five years failed to perform periodic and mandatory safety checks (so called CP tests and something I pay for in the yearly tank rental fee) on the LPG tank at my house. Because of this, I cannot switch to another supplier (until Avanti produces the test…
