I assume it would be used it drains needed unblocking. The single…

What sort of sander do I need to buy?
In the midst of house renovations, I need to start painting all our old pine bedroom furniture white. This will involve sanding down large areas of wood to get the old varnish off (there is a bed, 2 bedside tables and a very large chest of drawers). I will also need to sand down a built-in alcove cupboard, and the skirting…

Kitchen and Howdens
I had a read about Howdens on your forums and did a visit to the local branch in Southgate to get our kichen re-done. Even though I said I am doing a renovation, they asked for account details which I didn't have. They are quite happy to help us if I provide account details. Also, they do not recommend any fitters as well!…

Filling holes in skirting where electric socket was?
The sockets in our house are currently surface mounted on the skirting boards. On thursday we have an electrician coming to recess them into the walls and am just wondering how we go about filling the holes in the skirting. I am assuming they will be too big to just use filler. Any thoughts appreciated.
