we had a conservatory built about 6m ago, but its leaked since day one. we're continually ringing the builder who put it up, but all he does is appear with his mastic gun, or more often than not, not even bother turning up.
weve reached the point where we just dont know what to do
is there anyway i can force him to fix it, or get some money back off him, or even get someone else to do it, and then make him pay for the work?
i dont think its a fault in the design of the conservatory, as the water ingress is only in areas where he has plastered/rendered, and nowhere near the actual upvc parts of the conservatory.

I would try trading standards if i were you.Obviously the conservatory is not fit for purpose.Just trying to cure the problem with mastic won't work in the short or long term.0

Woodbutcher is right. TS are a good bet. Additionally see if he is a member of any trade bodies Master Builders etc and use that route also. Small claims court is another route - to recover money tht you may spend onm another company to fix the problemEat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
