Crippling credit cards - pension draw down in 6 months
Hello there…. house improvements have left us with credit card debts of about 72k, which is costing us a crippling £1,100 per month to service (largely on 0% fee cards). We will pay this off mid-August when we can draw down from a few old pensions, but before then it is making life very hard indeed. Any suggestions at all?

Mortimer Clarke
Hey guys, so I asked Mortimer Clarke for proof of debt ownership using the prove-it letter provided on here & they sent the debt back to Cabot financial immediately without providing any proof. Does that mean they can’t provide it? Or do I now need to do the same to Cabot? I have other debts with other companies also,…

Non payment of council tax: Questions.
Hi, First off, apologies if this is in the wrong section. Times are tough for me financially and it's looking like I won't be able to afford my council tax going forward. I can barely make my rent and basics. And as a single person living in low-value social housing, the ever-increasing council tax is unfair and…

13 yo credit card debt / CCAs and partial settlement
Hello - my first ever post. I have two queries. In 2012 I defaulted on several credit cards. Been paying them all a tiny amount per month ever since. All has been quiet until recently when Cabot suddenly started threatening me with debt collectors and sent someone round who left a card. (An issue may be that my direct…

Perch Capital / ACI / Salary Finance
Hi, I've this morning received correspondence from ACI as Perch Capital has purchased my loan from Salary Finance. Wording definitely says "Sold". I immediately rang them to inform them the balance is incorrect (£187.50 difference, not much I know) as a result of a irresponsible lending claim back in September 2024, and…

ACI / Updraft
