75% write off - Cabot. Statue barred soon
Hi I owed over £5k. The company then sold by debt to Cabot . After hounding me for years they reduced amount to £1250. I think this will be statue barred in December. However im thinking of my credit rating. Is it better to have 'settled ' rather than statue barred on my credit file?

Barclaycard don't allow additional card if not "close family member" or at same address.
This morning I rang Barclaycard with a view to obtaining an additional card for my partner. I've had additional cardholders in the past with no problems. This time, they can't issue one as my partner doesn't live with me and they can only provide additional cards for "close family members". This never used to be the case…

HSBC Credit Card Direct Debit Reference
Hi, When I applied for my 0% HSBC credit card, I set up a direct debit for the minimum amount. I noticed the reference was not my credit card number. My credit card statement runs 3rd to 3rd. Does that mean if my balance is zero on 2nd/3rd then I pay no interest? My payment due date is 28th of the month and I always pay above the minimum.
