Halifax credit card app notifications

Has anyone got these to work? I noticed this morning that the option was there for me to toggle on credit card spending notifications when it wasn't before. However it doesn't seem to work. I know the debit card ones can be a bit slow, but it's been a few hours now!

I didn't know that notifications were available on the credit card, so they must be new.   If they're anything like the debit card notifications, don't get your hopes up.  "A few hours" is very common; I've even had them the next day, sometimes.

Mine are instant with Halifax and Lloyds for all transactions, including things like subscription payments, I did hit the 'turn on all notifications' button though so maybe try that and see if it makes a difference?

What operating system is your phone running?

Depending on the above you may need to having notifications turned on in the app but also in the privacy settings or equiv of the OS itself (though that setting tends to be more all or nothing so if other notifications from them are coming through its unlikely to be that)

Thanks for the ideas. Have switched on all notifications on the app so will see if that works.

Phone is android 12 and all Halifax notifications are allowed so definitely not a problem that end.

It's not a big deal, bit nice to have, especially if they should be working!

An update (if anyone interested  ) - turned all notifications on, didn't seem to work. Re-started my phone, then got a notification about an hour after a purchase. Then the next time I used my card it was pretty much instant. Bingo!
