0% purchase card - what does it mean exactly?
Planning to apply to a 20-month 0% purchase card. What does this mean exactly? Let's say I get the card with £2,000 limit. I do a £1,500 purchase. Does this mean I pay nothing for 20 months? And in 20 months, which is December 2026, I pay £1,500 with zero interest. Many thanks

Just a heads up if you have a Zopa CC, Zopa have hiked my interest rate up 10 points today 12% to 22% - completely out of the blue, I only use it for big purchases and rarely ever go over 25% of its limit - usually always paid off within 3 months. Word of warning re M&S 2 year 0% "deal"
Might be wise to double check on this one. Applied using the MSE link and was accepted, but couldn't see confirmation of the two years anywhere in my new account online or in the paperwork sent with the card. So contacted them via online chat to find I only had 15 months at 0%. I don't mind they rejected me for 2 years but…

Credit Card balance and the Credit Rating
I have seen on my credit report that spending more than 25% of my limit negatively impacts my credit rating. But at which point does it impact it? If I make sure to repay enough of the credit card to reduce it below 25%, before the end of the money, will I avoid any impact? Or do they see the balance instantly?

Monzo Flex
Can anyone with a Monzo Flex card clarify this for me. Does Monzo report Monzo Flex usage to the credit reference agencies just like a regular credit card if paid in full? If you choose to pay interest free for 3 months, is it reported as Buy Now, Pay Later. If the latter, does that affect a credit score?

Capquest / OPOS chasing for an ancient MBNA credit card debt
Hello... This morning I received a letter from Capquest/Opos, in which they are trying to chase me for an ancient (2010) debt to MBNA which was resolved at the time. The letter is offering a settlement figure but I am sure that this debt is statute-barred as it is way more than 6 years old and it does not feature on my…

Best tactic for 0% balance transfer offers on existing MBNA cards
I had 2 MBNA cards with long 0% BT deals. Just before the 0% deals expired, I paid off the cards in full. This was 6 or 7 months ago and MBNA is not offering me any new BT offers on these cards. Do you think a new deal will ever come along on these existing cards or is it better to cancel them, wait 6 months, then apply…

S75 protection with a credit card and gift card
Hi, slightly different to my last thread so thought I’d start a new one. Another transaction, and don’t have enough space on one card. In this case, they don’t allow multiple payment methods.
