0% Transfer Cards
Hi forum. I have 2 cards, both 0% (one ending in October and one in Dec). Is it worth getting a 0% transfer card for 31 months or even 20 months for the one due to expire soonest or wait until nearer October just before the interest kicks in? Thanks in advance.

Missed payment by 3 days, paid as soon as notified... late payment on credit check?
I have 2 Natwest credit cards, and I erroneously removed the direct debit from my bank for one of the cards. I had a payment due on 4 Jan... today I received an email and text about a late payment and them letting me know the late payment fee has been waived, but encouraging me to make a payment. I immediately did using…

Section 75 - Claim rejected unfairly
Hi, I filed a section 75 claim with Tesco bank for an alloy wheel refurbishment where the company damaged the wheels and are refusing to resolve even though they have accepted they caused the damage. I paid £300 for the service and the damage has cost me ~£100 in diagnostics. Unfortunately the wheels are damaged beyond…

Reclaiming recurring payment fraud on credit card
When I was holiday in Europe in March, I have now realised that a 1.75USD payment was paid by my credit card account to a retailer I do not know at the same time I paid a restaurant bill. Then on the 12th March and every subsequent 12th of the month an online subscription payment of 29.95USD has been paid to 5 different…

TSB Credit Card Blocked Fiasco
My Microsoft 365 annual subscription was due to be renewed automatically today. I received two texts, and shortly after an automated phone call, from TSB, saying that they needed to check that it's really me making the payment. They indicated that there had been three attempts by Microsoft (they called it a Games Company)…

HSBC: "cash-related payment" fee charged when paid for broker subscription
Hi All, I recently paid for my Freetrade Plus subscription (which allows me to access more stocks) with HSBC credit card. They charged me 2.99% for making a "cash-related payment" using credit card. Am I the only one that think it's crazy to treat such payment as cash-related? I don't get any of the money back, it's like a…

Barclaycard changing their mind about credit limit increase
I had an email from Barclaycard a couple of months ago saying they were going to increase my credit limit - not something I had requested or for which I have any immediate need, but no problem. But have just received a further email saying: After running some final checks, including a review with the Credit Reference…

Charged interest for balance transfer on Asda Money Credit Card
Hi all, I recently signed up to an Asda Money Credit Card to do a balance transfer as it was advertised as 0% for 12m. However, they started charging interest (around £100) as I missed a minimum monthly payment as I set up a direct debit up too close to the due date and a payment was missed. They made no attempt to contact…

When is 0% Balance Transfer not INTEREST FREE...?
Answer:- when you use that card for on-going purchases. Yes, sounds crazy but here's the story. I processed a £1900 transfer to my Santander card in October in response to a pop-up offer aimed at existing customers. Next two statements had a total of £150 interest even tho I had paid off the total for purchases IN FULL.…

New to credit cards, does 0% on purchases mean you paying nothing for that length of time?
Mainly used debit cards in the past but does 0% on purchases, mean you pay nothing in interest until the length e.g. 20 months expires? Then transfer to another card to continue paying nothing while trying to pay it off? I need to borrow £5000

Any advice? Partial application
Hi, I used the credit card eligibility checker to find a decent balance deal. Started the application with Lloyds then the doorbell went and had some visitors round. I hit the website timeout & now can't finish the application. The deal no longer shows up on the eligibility calculator & Lloyds website won't let me start…

This is really weird.
Hi guys. Ok here goes. I took out an Argos credit card in my name (can only be used at Argos) over 10 years ago. There are 2 cards one for me and another in my mum's name. Mum unbeknownst to me has run the card to its limit (£2500) and hasn't paid a penny since 2021. Any and all correspondence would have been sent to her…

Credit card chargeback
Hi all, I recently opened a credit card disputed transaction for goods not received. I opened the claim within approx 110 days of the transaction. CC provider sent me a disclaimer form in the post to sign and confirm my dispute (said it could not be emailed). I mentioned my concern that the form would take 7-10 days to…

When should I transfer my balance from an existing card?
Hi, I'd like to do a 0% balance transfer so I can pay off debt with 0% interest. I have just had my statement through for my current card and am unsure what is the best time to transfer so that everything is paid out in time, if that makes sense. Many thanks

No 0% balance transfer offers from my bank
Until recently I've had rolling 0% balance transfer offers or cheap rate money transfers from my bank and another credit card company. I've been with them both for years, never a problem. Suddenly as of a month or two ago, there are no offers available to me. I read somewhere they both now belong to Lloyds. This is deeply…
