Covid is causing a strain on my relationship with my brother
I’m agreed to move back home during covid whilst I was looking to purchase a house and to help my parents. I’ve always had a really close relationship with my brother who’s 21 but covid is putting a massive strain on the relationship I don’t think it’ll ever recover. The whole way through covid he refused to follow the…

Inconclusive Covid test
I am on a research database, and I was asked to do a Covid swab test, even though I have no Covid symptoms. This came back 'inconclusive'. Does anyone know what this really means? I should just add that I have had no Covid symptoms whatsoever, except that my coffee tasted a bit metallic the other day. Apart from that my…

My mum passed away on Christmas Eve. I’ve not seen her since February. Her funeral is in Durham and I’m in Bucks. Both counties are in Tier 4. I know I’m allowed to go to the funeral, I think! Am I allowed to stay in a hotel if I can find one. Any advice. I can’t seem to find any detail on gov website.

Positive test with new born
We have a 3 month old baby and I’ve just tested positive from a test on 30 Dec. I’ve had no COVID-19 symptoms, just mild fatigue over Xmas. I was told to get a test by the COVID Symptom Study app (by ZOE). My daughter was 6.5 weeks premature so we’re obviously pretty worried about infecting her. We’re new parents and…

HMRC accessibility
Much is made of the possibilities for rescheduling tax debt but currently it’s almost impossible to discuss this with HMRC. Self service via its website may work but webchat and phone contact are out of the question.

Tier 4 essential retail - no reduction in customers in shops.
Have friends and family who live and work in Tier 4 in essential retail for 2-3 different employers/shops. They are not happy that the number of customers allowed in their shops has not been reduced. They don't feel safe. Plus more customers feel the need they have to shop with their entire household. They have asked these…

How to exchange gifts bought in store but shops now closed in tier 4
I bought a hoodie in the Superdry store but need to exchange it for a bigger size. As of today, Cambridge is now in tier 4 so my local store is now closed. Having chatted to their online help assistant, they tell me I have no other option but to do it in store. I can’t be the only one with this issue, surely?
