Hi all,
I know the landscape keeping changing and my head feels like it’s going to pop from all the info.
hsve I got this correct; travel from UK to Hannover proof of vaccination required. (Tick).
on returns PCR test 3 days prior to travelling date back to the UK. Followed by another PCR test day 2 in the UK.
I’m fairly desperate to go as haven’t seen my Dad for 22 months. Anything I have missed please?

"All travellers entering Germany from the UK are required to complete pre-departure digital registration, regardless of vaccination status."

You can get a rapid antigen test instead. Make sure you get some kind of certificate from the test provider.

I'm in western germany right now and got my test booked through eurofinns for tomorrow (NOT a recommendation just who I decided to go with as wanted to be sure I'd get a cert).

Its all ridiculous considering most of northern/western europe has very low case rates compared to the UK and yet it is the UK who are most stringent requiring at least two tests for all travellers.

I agree snd on arrival back to the UK one is expected to repeat the test. Thank you for this. I have been told that the German government will stop finding Covid tests in September. But I am sure this won’t affect those paying for it?
