There are hundreds of government  approved companies that sell COVID-19 tests with prices ranging from £20(out of stock) to £200+

A bit confusing. Would you say that the £75 boots day 2 test the best option?

The Government has reduced the costs of it’s Day 2 tests to £68 (CTM T&T ) as you say lots to choose from - some cheaper some more expensive - do you want to do the test at home and post back or have a supervised test ?

Choice is yours .

 If you are looking to save money ( as you are on a moneysaving website ) and since  you don’t need the result quickly (as you are not required to quarantine ) pick a cheap one that you can post back via Royal Mail.

( Some test providers prices double when their return courier charges are added) 

The Day 2 test provided by Boots is not an instore service , it is a home test kit - so in this case the Government provider CTM is cheaper . ( and lots of others too )

Expert Medicals is £27 (I think). There is no need to pay more for a Day 2 test since nothing depends on the result. You can certainly get far cheaper than £75.
